New Website Launch

I grew up in a family that loved pets. My parents owned pet stores in both California and Oregon while I was growing up and my mother was a top-tier groomer. I had a llama, several goats, sheep, fish, hamsters, cats, dogs and birds at some point in my childhood. I've been exposed to the industry for over 30 years now and seen the changes that have occurred in pet food and animal nutrition first-hand.

Education: Marketing Professional Development Program - University of San Francisco, Master's in Business Administration (MBA), Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Japanese - Brigham Young University

Hi, my name is Erika and I have been working in the pet industry for over 10 years! I have worked in animal shelters, as a veterinary technician, in feed stores and exotic animal hospitals, and of course several years in the Nature's Pet Market system. I've also done saltwater aquarium maintenance, trained in Schutzhund, French Ring Sport, and competitive obedience with my dogs, and even owned a macaw.

Companion animals have always been a big part of my life! I have two pit bulls named Tyranny and Bronco (also affectionately called Donkey), a neurotic police-bred German Shepherd named Friday, and a 15 pound ball of grey stuffed-animal fuzz named Ando the Cat. I'm excited to share my years of experience with you and my connections with multiple other nutritionists from top pet food manufacturers around the country.
