It is a goal of mine to find the best products to fit our customers' needs. Since the pet food industry is constantly evolving, this can be a difficult challenge. One prime example of a product that has changed drastically in both its price and sustainability is Nutro.
As many of our customers have noticed, this product seems to be constantly out of stock and changing prices regularly. With energy prices soaring to all-time highs last year, it was not a surprise to see pet foods incrementally increasing prices as well. However, those times have past and many are no longer in a position to be able to afford foods that keep increasing regardless of economic times.
Realizing a Nutro replacement needed to be found, we searched for a reputable company that had a long history of quality in manufacturing and service. We found the food we were looking for in NutriSource. NutriSource offers a full line of quality products, but their lamb & rice formulas are of particular interest as alternatives to Nutro Lamb & Rice. The upside is a great product (better in my opinion than Nutro) that is less expensive than Nutro and much more reliable.
